Treasury and Trade Solutions
Treasury and Trade Solutions (TTS) provides integrated cash management, working capital and trade finance solutions to multinational corporations, financial institutions and public sector organizations across the globe. The Trade Finance and Services business provides simple and quick web-based supplier financing services for purchases in Japan and in foreign countries. Our risk-hedge solutions help clients effectively manage their export risk and supply chains. In addition to traditional financial support for exports and investments from Japan, our Export & Agency Finance Unit has started to provide social finance working together with Japanese agencies, and actively arranges ECA (Export Credit Agency) finance to support critical commodities' sustainable import into Japan.
Securities Services
Securities Services provides securities investment related services, including custody (asset management), clearing (settlement), fund, collateral management, agency lending, and issuer services, to institutional investors and corporations. This business leverages Citigroup's greatest strength, its global network, and currently has operations in 63 countries.
Custody provides global custody services needed by Japanese investors who hold foreign-denominated assets as part of their overseas (outbound) investment activities; and local custody services (safe deposit, settlement services) needed by overseas investors who hold yen-denominated assets in Japan (inbound investment). A one-stop-shop custody service model backed by Citi's unique network enables investors to access developed and developing country markets in one place.
Execution Services provides services for market-related products, including securities lending (agency lending), collateral management, and foreign exchange custody services.
Issuer Services handles the issuance of the American Depositary Receipts and agency functions, such as serving as a financial manager in capital markets.
